Boys Brigade aims to provide a 4 sided programme of Spiritual, Social, Educational and Physical activities to give boys a balanced approach to growing and developing into the young men of tomorrow.

In a fast moving 90 minute weekly programme most of these activities are undertaken.

We also run extra activities which include the following. Hike in the dark, a Swimming night, a water night, a day hike in the Blue Mountains, and 2 Church parades a year.

Seniors    -      For Boys Year 7 to 12.

Meets Tuesday nights from 7.15pm to 9.30pm. During School term.

Boys’Brigade Seniors is the main section of BB and it is for boys who are of High School age.

Boys Brigade is a World wide Christian organization for boys and young men. Seniors also has the 4 sided approach which includes Spiritual, Social, Educational and Physical activities. Usually these are all covered during the night.

Boys Brigade has an award system which boys work toward over the year(s) and with their accumulation they can qualify a boy for his Queens award and The Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Some of our nightly activities include an Opening Parade, devotional period, drill, drum and bugle band practice, gymnastics and games. There are also competitions run based on boys attendance, uniform and their ability to discipline themselves.

There are also a number of activities run of a weekend which includes the following. Canoeing, bushwalking, grass carting, weekend camps and 2 Church parades per year.

The BB method as it is called also trains boys in and for leadership, with leadership training courses being run every year. These experiences tend to stand the boys in good stead as they move out of BB and into their work life or leadership within their Community.

BB Seniors is truly a time of learning, adventure, and fun every time a boy attends an activity.
